I am in love with my new socks! |
Anyway, my plan was to finish these on Sunday and get cracking on those Lego blocks for the baby blanket. Needless to say that hasn't happened but I plan on working on them quite a bit in the future. Hopefully next week's post will be full of Lego block stacks.
The frustrating thing is that I need to make 20 blocks and one skein of Lion Brand - Cotton Ease only makes about 13 blocks which means I need more yarn. I don't need it right away but I will need another skein eventually. Alas, the challenges we crafters face.
So please, pay no attention to woman behind the yarn, she is just trying to catch up this week.

Love the socks, fab colour :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, the color was everything I thought it would be an more. Even through the second sock is a bit darker than the first.
DeleteNo wonder you are excited to wear those socks, they look comfy! Will we get to see a picture of the new sock yarn??
ReplyDeleteSure I can post it tomorrow.
DeleteCute socks - why wouldn't you be in love with them. I like having a pair of socks on the needles at all times. I alternate between tiny stitches on tiny needles, and bigger stitches on more reasonably sized needles. It keeps it all fresh!
ReplyDeleteHey. don't beat yourself up, you finished a project that's a plus. Love the socks.
