It was really interesting to see how those commercials are shot. The commercial itself is 30 seconds but it took about an hour of shooting. Overall, it was hard to get stage fright when your just staring at a teleprompter. Anyway, if your good I may be able to post the finished product when it airs.
Now onto the yarn! :)
Given my business, the only progress I got was on the Gryffindor Scarf. I have given myself until August 10th to get this all done. Check out my progress.
It's getting to long to take pics on my table |

As a scientist, I definitely believe that having intelligent and enthusiastic young people going into STEM fields. But I don't think that a lot of people understand how vastly important it is for our future as a strong country capable of competing globally. You are definitely doing the community and country a service by helping promote it! Oh course, I'm still loving the scarf!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the support. I really hope I did those who work in STEM proud. I agree that it's really important to encourage youth to study and aim for career's in STEM
DeleteI'm with Pumpkin..As a scientist I can only thank you for helping to promote and support the sciences. I could go on forever about how lacking the support for true (and ACCURATE) science is..and the reasons why..but back to knitting.. the scarf looks great and looks like you should be able to keep to your finishing date..
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope the commercial comes out well and not cheesy.
