2013 - November and December Recap

You know the road to hell is paved with good intentions.  I had such good intentions to get the November recap up but it never happened so here it is in January and I am finally getting around to it.  Never the less, I have to say the last 2 months of 2013 were chalk full of goodness.  Can't believe it's already 2014.

2013 - October Recap

What a busy month.  Then again, I always say that.  This month I got a lot accomplished on my crafting.  I finished my blanket and worked on 2 shawls.  I also got to see some great movies this month.

2013 - September Recap

Holy Guacamole!  This month went by way too fast.  I definately put the pedal to the metal to get work done on my White Centered Granny blanket.  I also got some decent progress on Cherry Sundry.

Movie Madness Monday is coming along well and I watched Rise of the Guardians and Lars and the Real Girl

2013 - August Recap

Whew, my August sort of blended into the beginning of September and I forgot to post a recap.  Looking back I got a lot of progress done on my two blankets (Hue Shift Blanket and White Centered Granny) and started two shawls (Cherry Sundry and Happy Street).

2013 - July Recap

I don't know if it's because I blogged more but this month actually felt long.  Perhaps it was because I didn't take too much vacation.  Curse you 5 day work week!  Anyway, whether it's the length or the heat this month was very productive.  I got so much done and I am really pleased with my progress.  When I went back to collect the photos from the month I realized I just finished the first quadrant of my Hue Shift Blanket, I hadn't even though about my White Centered Granny and I was just diving into Movie Madness Monday.  What a month!

2013 - June Recap

Another month has gone and I have made some progress on my blankets and shawls.  Putting together this mosaic was particularly hard because it contains recaps from the Senators and Bruins series against the Pens.  I can't wait for September when the pre-season starts again. :o)

May was a busy month.  The Maryland Sheep and Wool festival and lots of hockey.  What more can a girl ask for?

2013 - February thru April Recap

Well, I was so busy that posting here went on the back burner but I did manage to get some things done during this time.  I finished my Trillian shawl, I went to a hockey game, and started some other shawls.

Oi, I can't believe I forgot to post this. Work is keeping me busy as well as class so my free time is crunched.  There are some awesome projects in the works and a Blogiversary to award so stay tuned.  Until then, check out what happened in January.

2012 - December Recap

Where did this month go?  Really it started out kinda slow and I made good progress then from the 15th on it was wrap speed to the new year.

I had a good holiday and a good trip to Anaheim which I will talk about in coming posts.  But here is a snapshot of my month.

2012 - November Recap

November has been a good month.  It was hard at the beginning but for once I didn't feel like it just flew by at light speed.

I am so proud of my work on various project and really have had good holidays so far. I can't wait to share more baking with all of you and just take a bunch of pictures of all of the festive activities through Christmas   Plus I have a trip to Anaheim to look forward to at the end of December!

2012 - October Recap

Wow, another month flew.  I enjoyed this month for the most part.  My best friend provided the funniest weekend I have had in a while and I have finally gotten into a groove with my new projects at work.  While there was some drama in the family, it has at least resolved itself.

As I approach the anniversary of losing Mom, I am reflective.  I miss her so much but I have weathered this year and know I can handle things from here on out.  I am so proud of my dad.  I was worried about him but I think he is going to be alright too.

I had a bit of startitis this month and while I finished and posted about my biggest project to date, the others were not completed.

Well onto my mosaic.

2012 - September Recap

Fall seems to finally be here.  The weather is crisp and cool and the leaves are beginning to change.  I know that 30 days have past but I cannot fathom where September went?  Can you?  I know what I did but it was hectic and mellow at the same time.  Lots of time for working on Knitting and Crochet but it was more scattered than in previous months.

I love that I got a good jump on my white centered grannies and that I started on the infinity cowl that has been sitting in my stash for months.  Now to start the next tournament of Nerd Wars and get some holiday knitting done.

I feel kinda bad because I broke up with the boy this month.  He kept asking what he could do to fix things but there was nothing to fix it just wasn't there.  I feel bad but in the long run it was and still is the right decision.

Well onto my mosaic.  I love these because it really allows me to review the month and get an idea of where the time went.

2012 - August Recap

Well hello again, I had the best of intentions to get this done on Friday but the holiday weekend swept me away and I didn't get anything bloggy accomplished.  I know you are all a forgiving sort so here is my recap post for August.

I am honestly amazed that this time has flown by.  I feel like it was just yesterday that I was writing the July Recap post.  So much has happened and at the same time nothing much at all.  The boy and I are still dating.  I don't want to put more titles on it than that but it is something special.  I had some family drama occur and school started.

In other news, the month was overall relaxing and I had awesome stuff happening on the weekend including becoming a human rainbow.

2012 - July Recap

I reread my recap post from June and laughed at the following statement.

"It has been so hot but I am trying to enjoy the sunshine instead of whining about the heat."

Really the weather had not even begun to get hot last month. I spent a good chunk of the month of July sleeping on my couch under the air conditioner. I did get a new matress and box spring so I may actually sleep in my room. Time will tell.

I have been out and about with the boy* but I did manage to get a bunch of stuff done and was able to post some great Finished Objects.

You got to see the finished version of the LEGO blanket, the Green Lantern Square, and a single wristlet.  The thing that makes me happiest is the progress on the Hogwarts Scarf.  Next month it will get finished.

2012 - June Recap

Between my birthday and life, June was a busy month. It has been so hot but I am trying to enjoy the sunshine instead of whining about the heat.

I got a bunch of stuff done and was able to post some great Finished Objects.  

With the Aquaman square done and the LEGO blanket done, I was able to plan for the next projects and get restarted on some WIPs.

Plus who doesn't love Rainbows!

2012 - May Recap

My oh my, what a month.  I didn't post as much as I would have liked.  The good news is that I am back to working regular times and will have a better hand on what day it is.  While I didn't post a ton,  I did manage to get some good work done on the night shift.

I didn't get the LEGO blanket done but I did get a lot of work done on it and am in the home stretch.  I got a lot of the squares done from my Debbie Bliss Blanket and finished the Spring Ahead Blanket.  All in all I am happy with the result

2012 - April Recap

Seriously where is the time going?!?  I am so amazed at the posts I did in April and I really hope you liked them too!  I am sad that the Pens out of the playoffs but there is still a lot of great hockey being played.  I have really progressed with getting those Lego Blocks done and bought a bunch of yarn.  Oops! :o)

Anyway, in May I plan to get that Lego blanket done and finish some of the other WIPs I have going on before starting a bunch of new ones again.  Let's see how that goes.

2012 - March Recap

I feel as though I just worked on getting the February mosaic done but I am really pleased with everything I got done this month.  The weather had been finicky but in general spring has come in full bloom.  I can't wait to show you pictures of flowers and spring here in Pittsburgh.

2012 - February Recap

Another month has passed and another Mosaic of everything that happened last month.  I am feeling really calm and relaxed which is something I haven't felt for a year.  February was full of yarny goodness, I went to the knit and crochet fest, a knitting lesson, and took lots of pictures for the month of craft project.  I can't wait for what March brings (cough basketball cough).

This week has been rough, I have had migraines and sickness but am finally starting to feel better. Hope everyone else is having a good week.
